TRYPT tearin’ up all of the lights with KANYE, RIHANNA & KID CUDI

Transforming any type of Kanye West production into a credible dance floor performer would always be a hard and complicated challenge, but the glorious Trypt from out of Toronto, Canada, seems to have proved all the doubters wrong in sustaining Canada’s own melting pot for superb dance music talent, and by crafting a most fantastic, non-vocal-lead remix for the ever exuberant nighttime. Play it loud people!

Well the mail has arrived. Over the past two months I have been absolutely terrible at responding to people so if you’re in that bunch I apologize! Because of all your support we received a plethora of great tracks- new and old. So before we get moving on into summer it’s time to rewind and clean out the inbox.

Hearing from artists and readers is exciting. I love comments and new music so being able to find both of those in one location is amazing. Feel free to get in touch with us anytime at aerialnoise@live.com. Thanks again for all the submissions.

Now it’s time to get on to the goods. Here’s some of the initial stuff we missed:

Phinz – Run Forest!

Snoop Dogg – That Tree Ft. Kid Cudi (Star Guitar Remix)

Jamaica – I Think I Like U 2 (Breakbot Remix)

Signal Deluxe – La Orquidea Negra (Cosmic Cowboys Remix)

Friendly Foliage – Masonic Meadows

Pluto In Furs – Venus On The Streets

Fuckin’ Ill.

If you’ve been following the last week you know we’ve been rep’n the Twelves pretty hard.  Myself, along with a collective of friends, hit the show Thursday night and it was unreal.  I felt the opening act really pushed people to the limits as it strayed far from main act in genre and style.  Although unique, it just didn’t hit me.  I think many were confused with what they were going to see.  Those who stuck around until the Brazilian duo hit the stage got their money’s worth- that’s for sure.  The two nailed it and threw down one hell of a set.  They left out a few oldies I was hoping for but after that performance I can’t hate at all.

Don’t worry. If you missed out you can still catch any of these greats in the surrounding area.

Sep 12.09 – The Twelves (Toronto)

Sep 14.09 – Felix Cartel (Kingston)

Sep 19.09 – Health (Toronto)

Sep 23.09 – Miike Snow (Toronto)

Oct 01.09 – Parallels (Toronto)

Oct 02.09 – Fever Ray (Toronto)

Oct 23.09 – La Roux (Toronto)

Nov 06.09 – Simian Mobile Disco (Toronto)

As for this week, here’s the goods- bumpin’ as usual.

ratatat

Kid Cudi has become a front runner in mainstream electro-rap.  Interesting combination but still deadly.  Ratatat, excellent themselves, saw the potential and remixed a gem in Alive.

Kid Cudi – Alive (Feat. Ratatat)

astronomer

I really dig how smooth Astronomer puts this together.  Nearly flawless in their rhythmic dub take on Metronomy. If you haven’t already, check this out.

Metronomy – Not Made For Love (Astronomer Remix)

mansion 2

mansion 3

Fresh new stuff from Mansion!  This track is an exceptional move from harsher house and techno to some prime disco-electro.  It’s existed for a week or so, therefore you may already have it but if you don’t I really… really recommend it.

Mansion – Gasaida

Bestrack is simply unreal.  The more I stumble across him the more I dig everything I hear.  To prove how excellent this guy really is, here is another batch of tracks to include alongside the others from a few days ago.

Tesla Boy – Spirit Of The Night (Bestrack Remix)

Night Riders – Take My Hand (Bestrack Remix)

Bestrack – Do It All Night
