MARTIN SOLVEIG & DRAGONETTE – Hello (Dada Life + Sidney Samson Rmxs)

Talking of bombs..

You know the feeling you get whenever you listen to a track and it gives you those instant goosebumps OR when the first set of chords whisk through, all those memories of that special night out, event, or person(s) come flooding back to you?

Well, ‘Hello’ by Martin Solveig has that upper echelon of superiority that encapsulates that unlocking-key through and through.

Not many adjectives, words or phrases can be used more to explain how awesome this track is, so in gospel and authentic thanks to Martin Solveig, Dragonette, Sidney Samson and Dada Life, all that needs to be said is: “Just awe. Just play. Just listen. Just dance.”

True longevity on audio, has just been born. Quote Aerialnoise.com, never more.

MARTIN SOLVEIG & DRAGONETTE – Hello (Sidney Samson Remix)

MARTIN SOLVEIG feat. DRAGONETTE – Boys & Girls (Laidback Luke Dub) [Ministry Of Sound]

Arguably, Martin Solveig’s greatest production to date (and biggest turnaround to a new musical style) is ‘Hello,’ which has crossed the world strobes over.

On this nearly over-looked single from 2010, the sublime overtones from Dragonette a’la Kaskade fame (whilst not forgetting their collaboration with the mighty Tiësto on his current “Kaleidoscope” album), puts ‘Boys & Girls’ up, up, up n’ away in the shape of some skyward-lifting Laidback Luke melodies, and housey hard action for all clubbers to enjoy.

Sounding ever-so beautiful as a mere Dub, doesn’t shy this away from lighting up any dreary face or sending those dance floors into a pushy, sweaty frenzy. Great use of the riff pattern featured and not a comparison with ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’ in sight!

This one is at the “front of the pile” Ladies & Gents!

KASKADE feat. MARTINA OF DRAGONETTE – Fire In Your New Shoes (Sultan & Ned Shepard Electric Daisy Remix) [Ultra Records]

First featured on a mixed compliation from Kaskade, this remix by progressive stalwards Sultan & Ned Shepard is vocally sublime.

On a few intial listens it could have the Marmite factor with a few audio tastebuds out there, but overall no breakfast table condiment can come close in matching this remix from start, middle and finish.

Its unique, its sexy AND it ROCKS!

Kaskade + Dragonette

A little while ago Martina of Dragonette accompanied Kaskade with a new video to the track Fire In Your New Shoes. As far as I know it released around the end of July, you can check it out above. If you really like it purchase it on itunes, click here for that. I’m really digging the new flare Kaskade seems to have. Waves of Change hooked me and I haven’t let go since.

For more info check out Kaskade’s at kaskademusic.com.

As an added bonus here’s a little collab with Deadmau5.

Dragonette + Fabian

Dragonette’s Martina Sorbara throws down the killer vocals you’ll find in this mix. And then Fabian, represented by the one and only Binary, spices things up with a fantastic synthetic disco vibe that compliments the track oh so-well. It’s a soft and sensual disco melody for a mellow start to a Tuesday. You can’t go wrong with that.

Dragonette has tour dates lined up throughout July and August reserved for North America. People in Canada and the U.S. can check listings here.
