Aurah (Marc Dold & Judith Martin) are no strangers to the music scene. Originally from Switzerland and now residing in Los Angeles, Aurah forms a new bar in reminiscent reinterpretation and Balearic / ambient acumen seen only through the eyes of true Shamen.

Sacrilege to some or refreshingly welcomed by others, ‘3 Little Birds’ would unquestionably not sound out of place as a backing track to a TV advert (that was worth its full integrity in advertising substance) or as a glorified original stem that was waiting to be transformed into an up-tempo progressive trance production.

Packaged alongside three other picturesque and meticulous pearls of ambience, Aurah’s consistency is as equal as their enduring resolve.

Now, if you’re one of the lucky souls who owns a copy of the 12” double pack vinyl of remixes (like I do) which enhances Stardust – ‘Music Sounds Better With You’ on Roulé (featuring remixes from Bibi & Dim, DJ Sneak and Chateau Flight), then you know that to take on the task of remixing one of house music’s upper echelon dance classics, is by no means an easy feat.

Even though Yazid Le Voyageur hasn’t used many “everything-but-the-kitchen-sink varieties” or any additional bells ‘n’ whistles to expand it further, Yazid Le Voyageur has come away with a weightless, simple approach by heavily looping the main riff and allowing the filters to drop in and out effortlessly. Making this a DJs-DJs edit, Yazid Le Voyageur adds his own stamp to this 1998 worldwide anthem.
