DER KÖNIG TANZT – Der König Tanzt LP [Fettes Brot Schallplatten]

Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful.

Much unlike a pre planned date in the diary that couldn’t be followed through by a second party, Der König tanzt doesn’t follow through in the same stance but lives on the tradition raised by his previous number called ‘Alles Dreht Sich’ with a loud n’ proud 12-track, album-anthem release, reaching the heights of König-superb & Tanzt-fantastic.

Displaying quite a lot of German entrenched belters on his self entitled album of “Der König Tanzt,” brilliant highlights instantly include the near-old skool magic of ‘Schwanenteich,’ the floaty & catchy upbeats of ‘Nur F,’ ‘Der K’ and ‘H’ – right down to the funky subtle electro-popped tones of ‘Fotos,’ ‘L.U.C.I.’ and ‘Holidays Im Krieg.’

With a lot on display to keep all music enthusiasts excited with a no-dull-track sense of representation, this officially gets the Aerialnoise Album of The Month Award for April 2012.

The king is most surely dancing his favourite shoes off …

“Der König Tanzt”  LP available on iTunes and Amazon now.

SNOOP DOGG feat. KID CUDI – That Tree (TKNIK Remix)

Electro-enthused in his own right, TKNIK from France uses his influences from Zdar (Cassius), Toxic Avenger, Busy P and Justice to mark-up a solid and flowed-out remix hovering over refreshing melodies / strategically placed guitar riffs. Nicely does it …

Swedish House Mafia ft. Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Greyhound (Kap Slap Bootleg)

Kap Slap has just released the first bootleg off of his huge 17 track mixtape (dropping 4/30) entitled, “Call Me Greyhound.” As always, it’s fantastic. Big EDM rifts cover Jespen’s pop vocals. If you like partying with familiar beats then you must check out the rest of Kap Slap’s beats.

Working away as a shining beacon of light and all the excitement surrounding long worded sentences, these La Bombe Records staples are the touchy, feely senses with more drive & right mindedness than certain fictional characters were from the motion picture Equilibrium.

KEVIN DOHERTY feat. AMBA SHEPHERD – Lifeline [Radikal Records]

Whether its Rocket Pimp’s developed and resonance BOOM!-like effects or Dyro’s dreamland & smooth baby bottom feel, the NRG created is as evident across the majority of these remixes as a room fully packed of ‘avin it ravers & over exuberant party-goers.

The Vocal Club Mix, Paul Paris’ remix and the After Hours Dub – right through to Matthew Macinate’s and Nick Arbor’s remixes; – are all individually showing what real electronic dance music & energetic structure is exactly about, eighteen times over!

With more high-spirited layers than a bright n’ ripe orange and with Radikal Records help also, Ireland’s Kevin Doherty and Sydney’s Amba Shepherd (et all n’ sundry), have pulled another one out of Hogwarts infamous pointy hat.

Feature :: NADIA OH ::

Produced by Space Cowboy (aka DJ Chrome aka DJ Supreme aka Loop Da Loop aka Kings Of Rhythm aka Nik Dresti …), the man of all trades – and fronted by the exceptionally-gorgeous Nadia Oates commit to two studio albums (“Hot Like Wow” (2008) and “Colours” (2011)), plus a plethora of single releases since 2007 (under the name of Nadia Oh accomplishedly).

Adopting a less is more approach for a ‘few’ of the cleverly edited videos (and on the others, a blatant “sexy-sells / sultry & subtle, innocent / lone girl approach”), we have a conductor of digital audio in Nik Dresti who flirts with the borderline of mainstream/cheese and the ever deep world of underground mightily dangerously.

Fronted more by the actual videos as a representation of the tracks, it’s a good job that some of the tracks are as equally as entertaining as the videos; and if anything, the music videos on the ones we have chosen, accentuate the Originals even more.

We begin with one of Nadia Oh’s featured tunes with Space Cowboy in 2007 before moving through to ‘N.A.D.I.A. O.H.’ (2008) and then ‘Amsterdam,’ ‘Soopermodel,’ and ‘Jump Out The Window’ moving through the year of 2011.

‘Slapper (Ayye)’ being their last recent release from March 2012 which samples the same idea that SL2 ‘On A Ragga Tip’ used to create their hardcore wonder on XL Recordings, solidifies the partnership of Nadia & Nik on an impressive and creative “Love it or Leave it” level.

Unforgettable, noteworthy, and original.. welcome to the CyberLink Power Director world of Nicolas Jean-Pierre Dresti and Nadia Oh.

Feature :: EDWIN VAN CLEEF ::

In ode to Edwin van Cleef’s most recent “gone as fast as it came,” Show & Tell Mixtape Three, we stop off at EvC’s Shop de la’ Inn in worship of a few falling angels; some Nala sung praise.. a late evening nightmare (by the form of ‘Never Be Alone’), and a few darting reminders of why the man from Leeds, UK always has his trusty music lawyer on speed dial and the DMCA on a yo-yo piece of string marked bitch slap.

Edwin van Cleef – Falling EP {2012}

In a two track posture, ‘Falling’ and ‘Nala’ are the lower BPM versions of trance-on-ice. Super slick and super cool, Edwin van Cleef goes for gold on an A-Class two for two.

Edwin van Cleef – Never Be Alone At Night EP {2011}

Featuring the captivating and mystic-rawness of Gemini Club via ‘Never Be Alone’, four of the eight Edwin van Cleef’s tracks are squeezed through an acid house juice extractor and a light & feathery essence of an arctic-mooned steel band chimes. All helped aside by Visage and New Order doing a ballroom twirl in the world of TRON.

‘Triton’ (Pharao Black Magic Remix), ‘Never Be Alone At Night feat. Gemini Club (Blue Satellite Remix) and ‘Don’t Stop’ – ALL AVAILABLE ABOVE FOR FREE DOWNLOAD.

Edwin van Cleef – Remixes {2011}

Simplicity may always be the best routine on these three amethysts, so the impeccable shimmer being taught across these three Edwin van Cleef’s bullets are authentically shown as ‘Between The Pavement And The Stars,’ and the shirts off / sweat dripping from your nose / it’s time to make squares and triangles with ya hands – melodies of ‘Sally In The Galaxy’ and ‘You Know.’

It lives, it breathes, its Edwin van Cleef.

THE SCIENTISTS OF MODERN MUSIC – A Personal Universe LP [Rubber / Shock Records]

For an album that transmits a lot of high octane green and yellow wire rooted electricity through ‘Digital Fear,’ ‘Planetary Attraction’ and ‘Girl On Top,’ its great to hear a duo like The Scientists Of Modern Music naturally doing away with their inhibitions and concentrating on some speedy electro for their dancing souls.

If tracks like ‘Nightmares and’ ‘Because If I Die’ were transformed into Instrumentals, then these two alone would be indestructible to say the least.

‘Follow Me’ in its purest form; is the favourite underdog that has just removed its invisibility cloak for future and persistent domination. And one in which that is certifiably scorching !!!

Broadcasting from out of Tasmania, Australia.. we are over and out.

The Scientists Of Modern Music – “A Personal Universe” LP released on 18 May 2012 on Rubber / Shock Records.

RIDGEWOOD SOCIAL CLUB – Forgot About Icarus

MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS feat. DANGA – Primadonna (Mr. Larsson Remix)

Emotionally charged newcomer Mr. Larsson retains that unique German craftsmanship strength & character amidst uncountable harmony changes and pitch shifting techniques. Raising the steady tension to a continued stretch (which brings in a rap, of all things), Mr. Larsson carries on to a crescendo walkway of electro trashed-riffs and crazy arpeggios.

On the bonus drop.. London’s BURNS opts for the dewdrop technique touched by delicate baby steps notions. Repetitive hand claps and saintly cheers cross in & out, providing a rollin..’ right place right time, start n’ stop technique.

Both remixes provide damaging aural results.
