1990 was indeed a fantastic year for Monie Love’s chart friendly tune ‘It’s A Shame.’ As was the need with high tops, wearing pin badges on your denim jacket and having holes in your jean thighs + knee parts too.. 2011 harks a soon to be announced tidal wave of nineties inspired EDM future-hits and reminiscent creative-wonders to shirk a great big grin at, and have a full-on dance too.

Eddie Hoey from out of “thee land of me ol’ pirates” – me thinks, induces a clever bit of housey-clap-awe and pleases the aural effects with some tight filters and rolling stabs in all the right places.

Eddie Hoey’s ‘Tonight’ also features in its Original and glorious Nacey remix forms, so for a latest release that throws off a cool, but well executed Phil Collins sample, I am excited and pleased to showcase this terrific Eddie Hoey single for all your naughty and kind Aerial Noise dot com ways.

If you haven’t booked your tickets for Ibiza this year, then start hunting around for any cheap or immediate flights – pronto Aerials! (As I’m sure that the seats and prices will eventually rise on upwards or vanish, if not done so already.)

Closing the mighty electronic dance music porthole gently (like putting a Johnsons baby powder scented-newborn down to rest), we return to slower BPM (Beats Per Minute) quarters through the form of another Jackson family patriot.. Miss Janet “Supreme” Jackson!!

‘Together Again’ was originally penned as a tribute ballad song to recently deceased friends who had died from AIDS. Through radio play and it’s evolution into a dance track, it became a much loved single and a very prominent selling single in the year of 1997. Featuring remixes from the holy hierarchy of house legends in Tony Humphries and Tony Moran forms (plus DJ Premier with his freshly dry cleaned, hip hop jersey on), the J.J. Original (as well as all the single release remixes) perform reminiscently well and carry off a magnanimous amount of vigorous body and note worthy soul to them also.

Crisp in its swagger and enormously loving it is shell, ‘Together Again’ returns on famous ground to remind fans that J.J. hasn’t forgotten you, nor has she lost sight of you. Spiritually uplifting, it’s an unconditional love-fest song – like Janet is to the millions!

Max Sedgley goes right for the aural jugular and puts a well n’ truly big “FUNK” back into the phrase “Funky,” whilst Faze Action permit us to throw our hands and arms into all sort of directions like the thousands upon thousands of true ravers did in the vigorous 1988 & 1989 seasons.

Last week’s post on Small Pyramids has me hooked on the new Another Way To Feel EP. It’s full of disgustingly good disco funk beats. The EP titled track, Another Way To Feel, has quickly become one of my all time favourites on the album.

Inside you’ll find a stunning backdrop with a unique deep house flavour. To add to the instrumental destruction, Zach Hunsaker throws in some light horns that give the track a whole new dimension. It’s sensational.

Magnavox is a producer duo (Ju + Mr.Ropper) formed not so long ago in a place called Spain. Recently they released the Through the Fire Demo which we talked about a little earlier. They return with another drop entitled Bamboleo. It’s very fresh. Magnavox are apart of Le Vedu, which you can catch here! What a sound!

Salad is a Canadian DJ from Ottawa who has been producing music for the last two years or so now on his current stuff, he has been Dj’n for the past four. Within that little time frame he has perfected some great jazz-based disco that plays right up our alley. The two beats he tossed us tend to start off with something seemingly simple, but then the combination of electro, funk, disco, and jazz come together to create something quite more abstract than I could have ever expected. The sound is something serious and the killer of course is the light jazzy keys. They give each track that added boost that could brighten anyone’s day.

- Whether it’s performing his Greek, fruit and Mediterranean salad mixes as a dj, or performing his originals with his gang of cronies, The Disco Vikings, Salad’s objective is to liven up the party and such objective is never disappointed.

Watch out for his latest EP, set to release  late August. Check here for that. Until then, enjoy Pushing’ Pressure and Chicago, two tracks to be featured on the album.

Cullen – Easily Impressed [Remixes]

Stumbled into a bundle of hot new remixes to Cullen’s Easily Impressed. Both of these are crazy hot and brought to you by no one other than Calling In Sick & Redial. It’ll be a coin toss to see which one gets played more. Calling In Sick uses a few sporadic samples while changing the tempo throughout to give the song a bit of a boost here and there so it’s hard not to dig it. But Redial brings in a little dark flavour that accents the entire track so well. I think his funky bassline takes the cake for me. So I will give it the slight edge and asterisk it… but what do you think?

As always props goes out to the blogs that hear these sick tracks before us. This time our shout-out goes to dodselectro. Tobias and the crew are consistent at delivering the goods. BudNubac [I'm Going To Follow]

I absolutely love the vocals in BudNubac’s I’m Going to Follow.  It’s sultry latin-loungey rhumba at its finest.  I don’t really like the breakdown that happens 4.5 mins-in as the track begins the fade-out, but other than that it’s amazing.  I love retro lounge stuff like this.  BudNubac (aka Robin Taylor-Firth – Nightmares on Wax, Olive, Subma Chena), Rawle Bruce (Subma Chena), Sara Garvey (Nightmares on Wax), Shovell (M-People), and many others all appear to lend a helping hand to the project.  Find more wonderful music from them here.

Alright so a friend of mine came across what she depicted as ‘Electric Swing’.  Whatever it is, it’s fucking mint.

The problem is (and I must admit it is a pretty big problem), and that is we have no idea who is behind any of this.  These tracks are a rip off a ‘chain’ CD that somehow was passed through the reigns until it landed onto us.  Plus, it’s a burnt copy with no CD information and I don’t have an iphone with handy gadgets that tell me how the universe goes ’round, or more specifically, tell me who is behind these next few tracks.  So I digress from my rant and apologize if you want to know more! As do I.

Hopefully one of you out there reading this can take a listen and instantly tell me who this is.  I even recognize a couple samples within (or think I do), not sure if they’re originals or what and it’s killllllling me! I am amazed at your talentedness.  Talentedness… it’ll catch.
