BlaQwell – “Livin’ Dissko”

BlaQwell is responsible for the plume of funk emanating from the tri-state area, and slowly descending upon us all. Soundtracking a new party at the Volstead, NYC, BlaQwell has clearly made some life decisions, and he’s currently Livin’ Dissko, and it sounds like fun. The New York/New Jersey Based DJ/Producer is offering his hot, late-summer dance track as a free download, and while you’re there, take a second to explore the other dance-floor bangers available via his soundcloud…

The Glass Chain – Circuit EP

The debut EP from The Glass Chain, Fer et Verre, foreshadowed greatness for the trio from Ottawa composed of creative principals Evan Mullen (Bass), Alie Lavoie (Vocals) and Nik Salad (Production, Beats & Synth).  Catchy as hell, and moody, with sounds drawn from both the deep and concrete houses, Fer et Verre was balanced by warm, disco-drums that make perfect sense on a sweaty dance floor. The trio, now solidified as such, come from diverse musical backgrounds, so it would make sense for them to be a bit antsy, and eager to sharpen Fer et Verre’s captivating stylistic elements. Their new, no-nonsense EP, Circuit, shares it’s predecessor’s flair for the dramatic, but richer, and nuanced, and strategically layered to hold a dramatic tension throughout. “Bad Teenagers” is the first single, and it unfolds like a three act play, and ends with a lulling horn solo that nobody could’ve seen coming. “Bad Teenagers” alludes to what promises to be another strong collection from The Glass Chain, who we will be following as the Circuit EP is set to arrive on  August 18th…

ASONA – Neon (EARLY PROMO)

ASONA is young EDM producer and DJ Austin Welsh, whose home studio serves as an assembly line for deep, techy tracks with thoughtful and elaborate progressions. During productions, ASONA aims to yank at your heart-strings and establish a deeper connection with his audiences, as is his intent during live appearances that can range from DJ sets to live production and remixing to the occasional acoustic sets, and it’s not uncommon to hear ASONA breaking his tracks apart live and forming entirely new ones on the spot.  He checked in with his new original track “Neon”, a piece the DJ and producer says he created as a “musical illustration of my travels through night-time cities, chill conversations, and my perception of the society that never sleeps.” Sounds like something I’d want to listen to during a booze fueled, nocturnal romp through a European capital….

HANA YORI KICHOU NA – Inside Me EP [Shiny Disco Club]

18 is the number, maturity years old is the treasure chest marked with promise and butterfly-excitement.

Inspired by the legendary record label stables of Roulé and Crydamoure (which is absolutely evident throughout these five pearls), Hana Yori Kichou Na brings to the world five new stones of wisdom to make Lord Of The Rings look like a cheap B-Movie made in about 3 days worth of filming, with a budget around $79 and 77 cents.

Imparting an equally vintage and modern, fresh experience, d.i.s.c.o. has just taken a-down-in-one gulp of the punch bowl, swigged a quick spritzer and then miraculously changed itself into a sober & fulfilled, clear sighted production piece of wizardry.

X-Men, speed-of-light mutations..? Eat your heart out!

JUSTICE – Civilization (The Remixes) (Part Two)

As game-changing as the entire show of WWE’s Extreme Rules PPV was this past Sunday night, Part Two of Justice’s ‘Civilization’ remixes have now dropped onto Aerial Noise.

All three have their own equal standing which makes things even more electrifying to play around with, so amongst the tales of an angry girlfriend who is missing her loving boyfriend from over the weekend, ‘Civilization’ and its procession of cheerful producers should gel back any forgotten misgivings and put everybody into a more happy spirit – equal to finding out that Osama Bin Laden is now officially wiped from our Gods green earth.

Blaster, DJ DLG and Q.G. we tilt our hats to you Sirs.

DJ Falcon & Thomas Bangalter – Together (Mac Stanton Mix)

Now this is a true Saturday-Night-Delight, I don’t mind hearing again!

2000 was one of the years where Roulé records was submitting its worldwide dominance across all forms of house music scenes and making certain people like myself to get instantly excited just on the sight of the Roulé record label sleeve in the racks of the record shops! Butterflies-in-stomach memories re-born, Mac Stanton bootlegs this tune up to the stratospheres, 2011-style and gives this a brand swagger in its step and catchy whistle in its mouth. Essential.

On the bonus link comes an originally sourced unreleased track, sent in from one of our Aerials called ‘Yeah Ah Yeah’ by Thomas Bangalter.. so hopefully this won’t turn out like the Avicii ‘Silhouettes’ sham that we fell into too quickly earlier…

FUNKTIONS

World oh Lord, I am glad to be alive, for it is all that you bring forth which sends me into the world of Sire Funktions.

Yes… Yet another up n’ coming superstar-in-the-making has touched base with all the Aerial Noise faithful and after taking lots of cold showers to cool off, we’re even more super-excited than before to bring you this piece of housetastic-magnificent-action to let your heart n’ ears decide about how funky the Funktions truly is.

Setting the standard extremely high for all fruits and spirits who are disco, funk and filtered based, USA’s one-man-wreaking-machine in Funktions puts his devilishly house cause down, and Hollywood Boulevards is sound to a most welcomed audience. Stunningly crafted with love, Mister Funktions has arrived without all the machine hype.

Let’s enjoy!
