Someone has been listening to those ol’ Taxi sitcom re-runs again boys & girls … But before we go all Andy Kaufman again with ‘Feel It’, Halloween comes early in the shape of ‘Carioca’ - alongside ‘Like This’ and ‘12-3 Gang’ - simplifying the lemon zest stripped down house technique + avid nakedness on funky-tap. 12-3 Recordings as found a new home within Aerialnoise. Glorious sounds Fellas!

ALAN BRAXE / NOTORIOUS B.I.G. / DON DIABLO / B.CHEN / SILENX / Tha InsomniACTS
The smell of freshly cut green grass and the crisp breeze of a birds singing day is almost enough to send you back to those blissful lunchtime hours you spent sitting on the field in Junior School.
Failing THAT … An alternative trip to your local park where you have to put up with the smell of dog poop randomly is not what anyone would call as a pleasant lunch break.. but I know which one I would opt for.
Neatly packed into a transparent underarm lunchbox container are five more production-housed edits – consistently prepared and cut with all the wheat germ folic nutrients that Don Diablo, South Florida‘s duo of Tha InsomniACTS, B.Chen, Silenx and our BONUS men: Alan Braxe and Ford & Lopatin can seriously provide.
And no.. you can get your own sandwiches’ …

PHANTOGRAM vs. THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. – Kleptomaniac (B.Chen Mashup)
Backnbloom – Music For The Modern Monkey LP [Fabulous Feat Music]
Not without sounding like a positively weird amalgamation of U2, Fused, The Cranberries and Garbage all split-ended and slammed into an electric food blender.. collectively; the goosebump indication and melancholy presence through ‘Flicker’ and the simultaneous lividness by ‘Hollywood Blvd. Remix,’ ‘Slip Away’ & ‘The Feel’ indicate a luxury wrapped album with more excitement to it than an over glorified showroom salesman.
Lori Steele & Alberto Beka as Backnbloom make all of their spirits into a love den and coat “Music For The Modern Monkey” in head ordained honours.

UTRB vs. MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS / MONOLITH
Another eminence Marina And The Diamonds remix flies its grey, rainy & wet wings over to AN on this fresh n’ hazy Sunday morning in the UK – and conditions our studio room with childhood cosiness that an equal cherished loved one or a long lost lover can bring.
Monolith on his ones & twos re-tarnishes ‘Kernkraft 400’ in a 2012 re-blitzed way, (so he needs to thank Paul Oakenfold for that..) and commands a hard & heartbeat-felt flow through Designer Drugs’ wonderful ‘For All We Know.’ An ace blend, for an exciting 3 for 3.
GRUZO – Peace Is For Glitches EP
For an EP that’s been soaked up by the guitar & breaks waterfall of reverbed and stretched electronica, this mini selection from Prague’s Gruzo isn’t half bad …
Depicting the story of the last and final war on planet Earth.. Gruzo’s “Peace Is For Glitches EP” sums up that Armageddon opinion quite ferociously.

DJ MIX HEAVEN
Beginning with newcomer ENJOi (from Cadiz, Spain) taking care of some recent and own personal favourite elements of disco & house – through to Liverpool’s Yousef reminding us all about why the art of “warming up” in clubland is a worthy process of being honourable, Yousef takes us on a journey through a sometimes overlooked highlight to harness the dexterity of sounds before the main DJ set of an evening, and concludes why it is absolutely centre point in warming a club night to build up the energy, set the pace.. and to create a vibrant atmosphere for the latter DJs that are scheduled to play after them.
Another Spaniard in Towards Green beautifully whips up a meal in ambience & implementation through UK’s radio station XFM and Ben Watt’s promotional label hands in Buzzin Fly - to finally bring to a finish a German benchmark of slow motion & mid tempo house music, with acid house soul & traditional atmospheric funk from Stuttgart’s CLOCHARD.
Wanna go out? I’m coming with you …
Yousef’s opening DJ set – Live @ Carl Cox Revolution at Electric Brixton on 7 April 2012. Mixed live on three Pioneer CDJ 2000’s and one Pioneer DJM 2000 Mixer.

Oliver vs. Punks Jump Up + Smalltown DJs
Does anyone not like Oliver? Well, probably Oliver themselves when they’ve been stuck in the studio for ideas or when they’ve listened to their own productions 100 times over already … But refusing to let that get the better of them in an innovative L.A. output, the duo of Oliver chalk another few seminal lines up for the teachers blackboard.
FUTURECOP! – Transformers vs. In Time + “The Movie” LP
Not without sounding like this WAS made in “2013..” released earlier this year in a played down and gleeful regard are Futurecop! remembering all that they stand for embracing quiet, tweeting whispers entailing the future advancements of the mighty synth, a more sustainable sound of the inventive 80’s rainbow.. and the always refreshing magic of better & wholesome power-pop music. Resourceful to the point where it doesn’t get too boring, a wall-to-wall assortment of gems & stars are on offer.
Acclaim. Purchase. Savour. It’s Futurecop!

SNOOP DOGG feat. KID CUDI – That Tree (TKNIK Remix)
Electro-enthused in his own right, TKNIK from France uses his influences from Zdar (Cassius), Toxic Avenger, Busy P and Justice to mark-up a solid and flowed-out remix hovering over refreshing melodies / strategically placed guitar riffs. Nicely does it …
