UTRB vs. MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS / MONOLITH

Another eminence Marina And The Diamonds remix flies its grey, rainy & wet wings over to AN on this fresh n’ hazy Sunday morning in the UK – and conditions our studio room with childhood cosiness that an equal cherished loved one or a long lost lover can bring.

Monolith on his ones & twos re-tarnishes ‘Kernkraft 400’ in a 2012 re-blitzed way, (so he needs to thank Paul Oakenfold for that..) and commands a hard & heartbeat-felt flow through Designer Drugs’ wonderful ‘For All We Know.’ An ace blend, for an exciting 3 for 3.

GRUZO – Peace Is For Glitches EP

For an EP that’s been soaked up by the guitar & breaks waterfall of reverbed and stretched electronica, this mini selection from Prague’s Gruzo isn’t half bad …

Depicting the story of the last and final war on planet Earth.. Gruzo’s “Peace Is For Glitches EP” sums up that Armageddon opinion quite ferociously.

FRIDAY NIGHT DELIGHT : FIVE OF THE BEST

Featuring five of the best playas that have dawned on Aerialnoise in some way or another, we stop off @ Junction Sidetrack to play Little Big Planet and Fifa ‘12 with the PS3 professional gaming teams of the slick & refined TalkFine.. Black Tiger Sex Machine’s EP selection of schizophrenic mayhem.. Dirty Souths’ twin partnership with Miike Snow.. Oliver showing who’s boss with Foster The People.. and Video Village lushing things out through Justice.

Hands off.. It’s mine … !!!!!!

N3AKO – Synthesis EP

From the words of Nick Meyer aka N3AKO, we begin and end with an ultimate whopper of an 8-track EP (including bonus track - ‘Epic Madagascar’) showing off the result of what happens when you put the likes of Axwell, Nero, Afrojack, Feed Me, tyDi and Porter Robinson into a pre-warmed pot and set the dial to full heat!

If anybody has any problems in remembering key memories which shape the present and the future, then this EP by N3AKO should hopefully kick them back into touch.

“Synthesis, is unlike any EP I’ve done in the past. This time, I really wanted to do something to set it apart from the rest. You’ll see I dabbled in some trancier songs giving it a new feel, but maintained my usual “dirty vibe” by mixing in some dubstep as well.

I decided to use some not so popular songs, as well as a few chart toppers like Axwell’s – In My Mind for this project because I wanted to make bootlegs that haven’t been created before. This is why I thought Synthesis would be a perfect name because it means combining two or more elements to form something new. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did making it!” – Nick Meyer

PUNKS JUMP UP, MICKEY / TIËSTO, WOLFGANG GARTNER, BACK FROM THE FUTURE / BJÖRK, CURRENT VALUE

Scaring the almighty heebee geebees out of the swans that glide the lakes and the badgers that dawn their holes – on a 3-track different-acts-display, we mingle the thoughts of Punks Jump Up and Mickey.. the dangerous doings of Back From The Future on Tijs & Wolfgang.. and the modern vintage stereo-fuss of Björk and Current Value. Oooooo, it’s gettin’ awfully loud People!

Punks Jump Up feat. Dave 1 – ‘Mr Overtime’ released 30 April 2012 on Moda Music.

DOORLY – This Is L.A. + Hear U Calling + Johns Poem

Even though Doorly’s warm and favourable drums have always been familiar to these reviewers ears, this is a first for AN as Doorly continues his “Pigeonhole This!” series with a sample from Sheryl Crow and two extremely atmospheric specials taken from his forthcoming EP out on 29 April 2012. Breaking down the walls in every capacity …

DOORLY – John’s Poem

Pyrax

Alek Angelov brings a fresh new sound to the dubstep world. Harnessing influences from xKore, Syrebral, Knife Party, Mizuki’s Last Chance, Bare Noize, Brownz, Clayfacer, KOAN Sound, Toneshifterz, the man from Macedonia creates a blend that separates himself from the others. My favourite is the track called “Get Over Here”, which features samples that sound similar to Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion and his catch phrase Get Over Here.

3 STRIPES vs. IRON MAIDEN

Before we let 3 Stripes go for another tea break, we pull them back by the shirt tails and remind them that they’ve got one more rendition to take care of – via the hands of the heavy metal Gods, Iron Maiden. This should blow your root canals off …

José González – Crosses (4th Remix)

Born of Argentinean parentage and renowned as a hugely popular Swedish folk artist – José González has been revolutionized wholly by the hands of Fourth (4th) & all of the Celtics lovers within Boston, Massachusetts. Yet another heavenly remix.

SHANE MARTZ vs. KATY PERRY

In a weird state of confusion, multilayered by a swaying intoxicated groove sent into lead vocal oblivion, Shane Martz from Whistler, Canada flings Ms Perry into a permanent state of unconsciousness.

DON DIABLO – Silent Shadows

Blessed by the faculties of Noisia, Swedish lovely Mirou (aka Marlene Strand) and video director Alistair Legrand, ‘Silent Shadows’ is born amid a backdrop of super-slow bloody chainsaw action and more two fingers in the air aptitude than Benny Benassi’s ‘Satisfaction’ video stuck on repeat. Turn away now if you are of the easily squeamish.

Released 30 April 2012 through Columbia Records.

DAMN YOU MONGOLIANS feat. KATIE’S AMBITION – Footprints

Naming himself after a phrase that’s taken from a certain South Park episode, Damn You Mongolians lets us know about this inexplicable and striking tune – that’s a two part mixture of dimness and brightness.

Melodic Saturday Night Delight presence, with big time – jumbo-glee!

KDREW X3

Presently conveying heaps of butterfly-excitement goodness with his new track ‘Bullseye,’ KDrew’s three-for-three weekend-spiced-delights roll on like a steamroller through ‘Citadel,’ ‘Danger Zone’ and ‘Flying Bass Kick’ immeasurably.

CHASE & STATUS feat. TINIE TEMPAH – Hitz (Dillon Francis Remix)

Dillon Francis rolls up his sleeves, puts on his trusty lumberjack chequered shirt and insists on making Tinie Tempah and Chase & Status sound even more enhanced than they have ever been before. Enlisting a powerful drop for good measure as well, this sounds like it’s about to take the roof off in a slow n’ subtle fashion! Ace work Dillon!
