With the enjoyment still reeling after Part One’s 12-3 Recordings documenting their recent release strategy, Flubba, Ruben Brundell (aka Sticky Stockholm), Orphans STHLM and Lemieux slickly provide the ongoing night time ambience.
On each of the remixes that have been coaxed into Flubba’s “Can’t Wait EP,” stalwarts 2 Edit, Leav, Orphans STHLM and Spoonz – provide a couple of sounds that DJs Dave Mothersole, Colin Dale and even Kerri Chandler would be heavily aroused about.
Sticky Stockholm leaves the childish things aside and gets to grips with some proper adult action amid ‘The Rhythm,’ ‘Ting Ting,’ ‘Move On’ and ‘Rocks & Stones’ rocking the joint Stockholm-Style!
And Orphans “Kasp & Andy” STHLM get baking with three giant-sized tablespoons of vintage throwback house that has all the attributes of edgy, severe bass kicks and unforgiving sharp trebles (interlinked with harmony and classic drive).
Maya Lourenco (aka Lemieux) gets gritty and profoundly subterranean under her “Skvallertorget EP” – making the digital equivalent of a tech house / techno DJ’s wet dreams real; with an endless construction of emotional audio layers and powerful musical breaks.
Having a 3-track package like this should indeed keep the clubbing faithful cheerful and the music listeners extremely ecstatic. Truly sublime.
