Scott Binder and Nathan Heal’s project of The Banger Bros still want to move clubland boundaries and re-shape those earthly landscapes fiercely.
Amidst a chunky and gratifying 6-mix package that stems from a lively, electro house whipped Original, the package of ‘Ready For More’ spoons off an acid-spiral Rayner & Wisqo dominion, a battle of chord progression throw-downs from E-Cologyk and Vodge Diper - and an edit from producer Amoeba which features an immense piano refrain, post-breakdown crunches and further indestructible notions if that remix was left as an instrumental.
‘Ready For More’s coup de grâce is dealt by Miami’s kingpin in D&B basslines: Totally Sick. Transforming an epically progressive Original into a full-on D&B club beast, seems to have left myself in need for a lie down until my Totally Sick endorsed alarm clock wakes me up for another session to coax me back onto the dance floor.
Packed with more audio spells than J.K. Rowling - The Banger Bros & co. kick proper behind.
