Luxar is the London based production duo, and senior members of the DJ Hero music team, Tom Oke & Julian Fenner. The guys have checked in with a pair of new tracks laced with the same dynamism as their recently released EP, Arrival. A pair of grizzled house, electro, cosmic disco, and dreamwave DJs, and music producers, Tom & Julian recently introduced themselves by offering Arrival as a free download you can nab here. Currently, they’ve been working on a pair of new tracks that seem like an addendum to Arrival, as if they should bookend the EP. Just in case you’ve been given the “skinny on the happening after hours”, “Encore” is just what it sounds like; an extra dance to finish things off. “Sundown” feels like it would sound perfect in front of the EP’s tittle track, to help you slowly unwind before nightfall. I love the straightforward fun Luxar consistently shows up with, and these two new tracks sound like business as usual…I’ve mentioned previously how the Arrival EP seemed to speak for so many different flavors of dance music, and I love the way their new promo vid provides a bit of a visual aid to help trace this lineage…
