Arguably, Martin Solveig’s greatest production to date (and biggest turnaround to a new musical style) is ‘Hello,’ which has crossed the world strobes over.
On this nearly over-looked single from 2010, the sublime overtones from Dragonette a’la Kaskade fame (whilst not forgetting their collaboration with the mighty Tiësto on his current “Kaleidoscope” album), puts ‘Boys & Girls’ up, up, up n’ away in the shape of some skyward-lifting Laidback Luke melodies, and housey hard action for all clubbers to enjoy.
Sounding ever-so beautiful as a mere Dub, doesn’t shy this away from lighting up any dreary face or sending those dance floors into a pushy, sweaty frenzy. Great use of the riff pattern featured and not a comparison with ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’ in sight!
This one is at the “front of the pile” Ladies & Gents!
