It is my upmost pleasure to bring you the next forthcoming single release from The Japanese Popstars called ‘Song For Lisa.’
Their second album, “Controlling Your Allegiance” has now been put back from an initial March 2011 release date and will now be released on June 13th 2011.
The release date for ‘Song For Lisa’ however, will be on the 3rd April 2011, so all you lovely Aerial Noisers out there are going to get first taste of how these remixes are cooking, on this outstanding new TJP single.
First up is the J. Popstars Extended Mix which continues on form from where the album version left off and intensifies the vocals and uplifts the melody once more. Benny Benassi is flown in via JP airlines and provides a decent remix that signifies his new B.B. style which I seem to love loads.
Pete Tong and his production partner Rogers rain down an absolute, time-honoured house BPM foundation that will please the new skool techno heads and the all endeavoured tech house crowds also. Certainly a remix that forces certain DJs to throw everything into the same pot, me thinks! Nice!
Wrapping up proceedings are newcomers Arveene and Misk, who go mental, tough and quirky with the Ableton sounds and end up churning a breakdown that could give Huoratron on M.I.A.’s ‘Internet Connection’ a DEFINITE run for its money!
We continue with the audio aromas…
