FRED FALKE – Back To Stay [Work It Baby]

Whirling out a devastating and uplifting intro to kick start proceedings on the ol’ music review front, is yet another “Saturday night slammer from Alabama…” from the man they call… Mr. Fred “By-Godddd,” Falke!!!!!

This guy sure does have his Weetabix, Lucky Charms and Alpen all nicely synced for his rotated breakfast menu come the mornings – so just between you & me, ‘Back To Stay‘ is right up there with the best!

Known recently for his outstanding work on Sia’s track entitled ‘Clap Your Hands’ and his brilliant collaboration with Burns on ‘Y.S.L.M. (You Stopped Loving Me),’ this AA side follows on the trend in bringing home the goods in a cool but yet fresh disco ball like fashion, whilst not going too over the top, a’la Saturday Night Fever The Musicial.

Tasty to every last audio bite, Fred Falke produces an underground record which still sounds relevant in 2011 and extremely punchy with every last chord too with his cover of ‘Chicago’ feat. Teff Ballert (which was originally written by Roy Ayers) featuring on the A side.

Below average producers may come and go, but great ones remain steadfast. Mr Fred Falke, oh extraordinaire, we salute you!
