Goldhawks + Justin Faust

It’s been awhile since I last heard anything from Germany’s Justin Faust. Thankfully the wait is over. If this remix indicates the status-quo from him going forward we are all in for a treat. It stems from a Goldhawks single who like Faust, is touring all summer throughout Europe. (Each artist will have dates listed on each’s respective myspace pages).

Justin Faust is no newbie to A/N. Click here for some past signature tracks from the producer, and if your interested in more Goldhawks I strongly suggest the album, Where In The World, as a starting point. You can check it out/purchase that here.

Luke Million – Arnold

Hey, look who it is! It’s Arnold and he’s back! Only this time, he’s accompanied with a groovy disco-funk backdrop and teaches us the proper rhythm to his muscle-strengthening push-ups. Luke Million makes this track real fun. Get those hand-claps going!

“Come on now, more energy!”

Score! I found this and other cool shiznit from Andy Webb over on discodelicious.

Russ Chimes + Mark Ronson & Co.

Everyone should stay tuned for Mark Ronson’s new album set to release later this month.

As a free promotion, the talented producer is offering up the latest single Bang Bang Bang on his website here at: http://www.markronson.co.uk/.

It’s pretty spectacular. So far one of the best remixes to be sent out happens to come from the London-based Russ Chimes. It pushes the original back into eighties-mode by being full of retro disco pop and hot beat synthesizers. Be sure to watch out for the new album, and don’t forget to support Ronson!

Karraskilla – Expresso Cali

Karraskilla’s delivers in Expreso Cali, a hard hitting gem off Tren Siete Expreso Cali. The DJ who seems to be stationed all over creates an ambience of dark dub techno and prominent echoing strings in the latest single. A 7-minute beat that does wonders. It’s pulsating, electric, and subtly aggressive. Hard and fitting for a Wednesday.

We In Music

We In Music is a project of Raw Man’s (Romain Séo) who collaborated with a few individuals including the likes of Play Paul (Paul De Homem-Christo), Benjamin Diamond (of Stardust) and Curtis (Fabien Lefrançois). The tracks were primarily released off Raw Man’s label We Rock Music founded in 2000. A label hyping some great music lately. As an example, check out the always catchy Grandlife above (video) and my new favourite remix below.

Dead Man’s Bones + Turbotito

Holy shit this is good. I think I’m addicted to lounge house.

Turbotito checks in with his latest remix to Dead Man’s BonesLose Your Soul. It’s a track that has some vocals reminiscent of the Hercules And Love Affair/Hegerty + Pocketknife/Worricker combo while adding some accents, one of which sounds similar to the Vox Continental organ The Doors had picked up. To top things off you get a choir to occasionally add in a Gospel backdrop. ‘Wow’ is pretty much all I can say.

Both artists bring out more of the same, get more by clicking each individual artist name for their myspace. Although..the quickest way we can get you more is through beatport for Turbotito.

Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding’s voice accents electronic mixes so well. Whenever I hear another remix it always takes me back. This weekend, I found another. She is quite talented but so are all these couple of artists who put their own lively and unique touch on some of her tracks. Find more through a quick search on here. As a little bonus find her performing a duet to Passion Pit’s Sleepyhead. Her voice is instantly captivating and raw ability leaves a one hell of a lasting impression. Needless to say I’m excited for the next album and overplaying the last one.

Elena Jaine “Ellie” Goulding is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. Her debut single released on Polydor Records in 2009 and since she hasn’t looked back- dominating the charts with hit singles like Starry Eyed, Under The Sheets and Lights along the way.
