Last weekend was awesome but we sure missed a few days worth of music. Here’s a short little splurge to round out the month and in many cases the summer.
As always we hope you enjoy and find what you’re looking for on Aerial Noise.

Mellow and chill, DJ Agent 86 strikes again with one of our newer favourites entitled, Microdot. It’s sly and sleek containing a hint of hot disco fever.
“Microdot” is a rollin’, 303-drenched, synth-monster with heavyweight kicks & a sleazy, driving bassline.

Wow! It’s been forever since I’ve tossed up some PUNCHES on here… but I honestly don’t think I could have tossed up a better track. Let Go is one of my all-time favourites and has that knockout kick these guys always possessed.
PUNCHES was born during a cab ride one cold, Brooklyn December night, with thoughts of warm weather and the perfect summer soundtrack. Composed of twin brother DJs Finger on the Pulse and Alan Astor, PUNCHES is united by a common goal to get you moving. The sound is dynamic and fresh, heavily influenced by disco vibes with indie elements. They have produced original tracks featuring Alan Astor on vocals, as well as an official remix for indie pop sweethearts Au Revoir Simone, which you may have heard earlier on Aerial Noise with the remix to the single Only You Can Make Me Happy.
North Carolina’s Hidden Cat a.k.a Madison Bullard made a huge leap the other week after releasing his rendition to Dirty Projector’s Stillness is The Move. A light track with some phenomenal synth breaks. Infectious to say the least. Bullard also recently dropped his new EP, which you can all have a free listen too here.
If you like this, you’re also going to want to check out more of his remixes featured here on his myspace… zing!

It’s a triple threat Monday! I couldn’t decide what to post so all three of these should do. If you’re already having a bad start to the week maybe one of these will help ease the pain.
To lead things off we have Martyn. An individual who I didn’t know much about before hearing this track. Now I have his myspace tabbed and there’s more to hear than this beauty below.
This track can be found off Tiga’s album Gentle Giant Remixes, released July 12, 2010 on Turbo Recordings. Purchase that album here.

I think most of us can just look at who is involved in this next track and almost know before you hear it, that it will be something you will want to hear again. Bold statement but it will live up. You have got to love those riffs.

A little disco-pop mix to cheer things up a bit. Edwin Van Cleef has produced some dancefloor hits in the past, some of which remain hot today, but this feel-good track could impact just about anybody. A perfect cure for the Monday woes.

Thought I would kickoff today with a beat that has completely taken me over. This chill I get is from Royksopp’s new single This Space. I’m not quite sure what that feeling is but it’s so overwhelming it feels like it could be life changing. An epic instrumental that embodies some of the greatest laidback and relaxing moments of my summer.
Listen to this on a dock, in a car, in a bed, in a chair, in a waiting room, and while you dream because it’s that good.
Throwing back with a little old-school Gunstar. The Irish mate knows how to produce. Below he shows off his soft Futurecop! like skills in The Dream Machine and then spoon feeds us some of his own eclectic electric beats in Idee Fixe. Last year blogs had deemed him similar to GRUM, and Russ Chimes holding on to the fresh 80s synth vibe that was becoming hot as hell. There sure was a lot of potential there.
Today we have another fresh mixtape from the imaginative genius Broke One! Like the Get Fresh! Mixtape this delivers hard with funky sultry electro and is absolutely perfect for those long summer nights. The innovative Italian producer is playing in Oslo, Norway this upcoming August 26.10.
Find the first of the two-part mix Play This Only At Night below, the other half can be found on Broke One’s myspace for free!

Wednesday getting you down? Need something catchy and uplifting to brighten your day? How about something Short and Entertaining?
If you answered yes to any of the above it’s time to get excited because Jamaica’s beats are back. Although being a first on here, I’m sure the catchy, rhythmic explosion in Jamaica’s New Wave will cause a ripple in those lusting after infectious indie dance beats. To those addicted to blogs Jamaica will not be new to you at all. They always have a big sound and people have come to love them for it.
The project consists of Antoine Hilaire on vocals, Florent Lyonnet on bass/vocals, and sometimes the very talented David Aknin lends a helping hand on drums. Together they are more than just good. Check out their myspace for some more audio samples or head over to beatport to grab your very own copies.

There is no mistaking Grum’s flare while on the dancefloor. The DJ/Producer has recently added a few new billets to the summer/fall lineup and it is looking pretty damn good. If you’re currently residing in Europe or Australia you may want to take a gander. His shows are dynamic, phenomenal and consistent!
These few tracks listed below are new additions to the site. A couple are more recent but like most of Grum’s remixes they grasp a whole new concept of good. One of my favourites is the new Gamble & Burke mix to their new single, Lets Go Together. Check them below and always support Grum by purchasing more music here!
The scary thing is, the best is yet to come.

Those Daze are back and they are back with some very powerful stuff. So powerful I think it could be that tweaked out banger we were looking forward too awhile back. Whatever the case the new single needs to be heard pronto… so here it is.
The tropics brew storms and that’s exactly what’s brewing here. Joining forces for potential paradise are Miami native Stereotype & Hawaii resident Atlantic Connection aka Those Daze. Percussion sex could be one way of describing this sonic duo, or perhaps latin sating, however you’ll want to feel it out. Those Daze are House music meats psychedelic beach sex. (myspace)

I know, I know, this song has been kicking around for a while but its definitely still worth a post on AN. Eminem and Lil Wayne reunite and deliver, dare I say it, a much better double feature, this time mashed up with the classic What is Love by Haddaway. Check it out through the links below, believe this was released around June, but its still damn good today.
Robbie Loggia is an up and coming DJ/Producer from Brooklyn, NY. He recently released a new remix to Leisure’s Outside These Walls that’s gold. The PR line that came along explained it all: ‘Like Treasure Fingers, [Robbie Loggia] produces synth and guitar based disco house remixes with chopped vocals and massive buildups designed to blow up the dance floor’. His music is so good; Brooklyn may not be able to contain him for long. If you’re like me and dig the beats there is plenty more to hear on Loggia’s myspace.

A little while ago Martina of Dragonette accompanied Kaskade with a new video to the track Fire In Your New Shoes. As far as I know it released around the end of July, you can check it out above. If you really like it purchase it on itunes, click here for that. I’m really digging the new flare Kaskade seems to have. Waves of Change hooked me and I haven’t let go since.
For more info check out Kaskade’s at kaskademusic.com.
As an added bonus here’s a little collab with Deadmau5.
